Immunization Gateway Data Exchange

MCIR has successfully facilitated cross-jurisdictional data-sharing with the states of Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Utah, as well as with programs like Veterans Affairs (VA) and Refugee (EDN). By leveraging the CDC’s Immunization Gateway (IZ Gateway), we have enhanced visibility into vaccination rates and improved patient care for individuals traveling between states. This initiative underscores our commitment to seamless information exchange for better healthcare outcomes. The MCIR is continually testing with other jurisdictions and programs as they become ready and available.
